16 Jan - TWBIG Training
11members of TWBIG attended this training session. Disappointment. Strict rules will be met out and to be mentioned during next meeting.

23 Jan - Chingay Rehearsal Party
3 of our TWBIG Executives attended this party.

24 Jan - TWBIG Chingay Training
12 of our selected balloonists attended the training, advanced cartoon sculptures like elmo + cookie monsters + big bird, are being taught. More advanced sculptures in the next training ;)

30 Jan - Chingay Rehearsal Party
• Event: Singapore Samba Party cum Chingay Samba Rehearsal
• Venue: F1 pit

• 11 members from TWMBIG went for the rehearsal: Jeremy,Felix,Ken,Alvin,Jocelyn,Jastina,Clement,Charlton,Carine,Zhen Ying,Zhi Yao
• Mr. Glen, Bao Fa, Desmond, Valarie, Joanne, Jia Nie and a few Serangoon BIG members also attended the rehearsal.

• Briefing and distribution of vests & balloons
• Each person was paired to a partner and they were given 3 packets of balloons to sculpt for the next few hours.

• At around 7:30pm, the pairs were dispersed to various spots to sculpt for the crowd which included: volunteers (eg, ushers), performers (such as stilt walkers), families, tourists and members of the public.
• Most of the people were grateful and amazed at the art of balloon sculpting. Few of the requests were: Bears, Hats, Flower Bracelets, Dogs, Hearts and even Tigers.

• There was a debrief at the end by Mr. Glen which he mentioned that there is equality in skills amongst all the members. The skills, speed and initiative of members needs to be improved for the next few weeks for the actual date.

13Sept - A Day At The Beach

Hello to all my fellow TWMIG friends, I hoped that we had a FANTASTIC time at Sentosa just now. From Basketball to Volleyball, Captain's Ball(MY FAVOURITE!!!) and last of all, having fun in the water. The turnout was excellent, more than what I expected. All thanks to Jeremy and Felix for the time and effort used to make this bonding outing a success. Oh ya, how was the sandwiches that Jeremy and co. made? I didn’t try it. Sad. Okie Dokie, this shall be a short post and I shall end this by thanking all TWMIG peeps who came today!!!

Jeremy, Yan Chen, Chiam Chiam, Yan Lin, Felix, Alvin, Amarlina, Jia Lin, Shermin, Charmaine, Hazel, Gina, Tessar, Hui Min and Justin, and also the rest who are not from TWMIG too.

1) Charmaine Tan will be OFFICIALLY taking over the position of Secretary. Working hand-in-hand with Amarlina for TWMIG! (:

2) EXCO outing is cancelled and will be changed to TWMIG outing.

3) FYP and Meeting Minutes will be uploaded onto the weblog, so please check back next month for the files documents.

The files are uploaded for INTERESTED MEMBERS to know more about how TWMIG is about and usually what are discussed over the meetings, if they happen to miss ONE MEETING.
4) JEREMY [President] will not be lenient to those members who do not ATTEND meetings more than thrice for no valid reasons. As meetings are informed at least 5 days before, therefore, you should do your own time management.

Reasons for removal of Memberships:

- Unable to commit to TWMIG
- Unable to contribute ideas (free-loader)

today of the 10participants, mostly are adults, and they are able to understand the balloon twisting methods and magic tricks taught easily, and everyone are having fun but there will never be no-ending-banquet, the workshop ended in 2hours' time, leaving behind memories, fun, and the nicely twisted balloon sculptures by the participants.
